As part of our ongoing web series, we (virtually) sat down with Kari Hornfeldt, our new marketing director. Even though Kari has only been with Atiba for a month, she was still able to provide some great answers!
What is your favorite part about working at Atiba?
I really enjoy working with great people who let you express your professional opinions while also being able to share a joke or two. I’m a sucker for ‘dad’ jokes.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
For me, it’s knowing there are always opportunities to push the creative envelope and make something new. Plus, my protein smoothie helps as well.
What has been your favorite project so far?
I came in right as Atiba’s new website was launching so that’s been my favorite project. It’s a constant evolution full of opportunities and possibilities.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I am missing nine adult teeth.
What’s been your favorite vacation?
I visited Norbys Karr in northern Sweden a few years ago. My grandparents were born and raised on that island in the Baltic Sea. The island housed a huge sawmill and it was cool to see a bit of family history.
Are you a morning or evening person?
I am an evening person, no doubt about it. Total night owl. That just gives me time to make plans to decorate/renovate my new house!
