Salus Workers Comp Azure Cloud Migration

We are big fans of the cloud as it offers improved usability, security, and functionality. Salus Works Comp came to us needed to migrate their cloud services.

Salus Worker’s Comp helps partner agents, underwriters, claims managers, healthcare providers, employers, and workers themselves to focus on doing what’s best for workers. Salus has nine offices around the United States and came to Atiba looking to migrate from VMWare to Azure.

Azure is Microsoft’s cloud service and is used by businesses all around the country thanks to its easy functionality and security measures. Salus has helped over one million injured workers around the country and needed a secure cloud management system that could handle the workload, provided the necessary security, and was built for their business.

In order to complete this project, we had to migrate two domain controllers and all of the member servers from VMWare to Azure. In order to successfully migrate the servers, we had to retain all of the company’s IP addresses.

For this step, we made multiple network changes and additional changes to accomplish the task. Additionally, the VMWare servers were a bit outdated, and to resolve this issue, we had to use agent-based replication.

Salus continues to serve injured workers all around the United States.

Our network services team is ready to help you.

"Over the past two and half years, we've worked with Atiba to receive IT infrastructure and staff augmentation support. Atiba assisted us to migrate our data centers from on-premises to Azure cloud in the middle of a global pandemic. In addition to their depth of knowledge, Atiba provides great response times during emergencies and is always available to help whenever we need it."
