Network Engineer

The Network Engineer is primarily tasked to troubleshoot, install, or maintain IT hardware and software for clients, accept escalated trouble tickets, and engineer and deploy IT solutions for clients. The Network Engineer is responsible to support and maintain a myriad of IT systems ranging from personal computers to cloud services.

Essential Duties

  • Engineer and deploy XaaS solutions for clients (e.g, SaaS, IaaS, etc.)
  • Engineer and deploy on-prem Information Systems for clients (e.g., Servers, routers, switches, etc.)
  • Engineer and deploy backup and disaster recovery solutions for clients
  • Manage IT systems changes and upgrades
  • Manage IT systems for a set of assigned clients, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Manage orders and equipment requisition for assigned clients
  • Perform sysadmin maintenance on a recurring schedule
  • Expert level technical support resource available to mentor and support lower tier specialists
  • Consult with customers to give technical advice and develop requirements for new features and solutions.
  • Support Microsoft’s primary business applications and operating systems
  • Support Apple devices, applications, and operating systems
  • Support core network components and all network access devices/endpoints
  • Maintain PC hardware and software
  • Maintain a remote monitoring and management system (RMM) to proactively address system errors and incidents
  • On-site: Tiers 2 and 3 support. Address advanced support requests on-site.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely fashion using company-provided email, phone, and ticketing systems.
  • Log hours worked on client tasks each day for billing purposes
  • Ability to document IT System changes and issues
  • Ability to document and adhere to standard troubleshooting methods
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Environment and Time Requirements

  • Climate-controlled office environment or work-from-home
  • Flexible 40-hour work week (must be available for scheduled meetings)
  • Variations in work volume sometimes require extended working hours
  • Frequent on-site visits to customers, possibly requiring out-of-state travel (rare)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of IT support experience or equivalent work experience

Business Analyst/Project Manager (Contractor)

This Business Analyst/Project Manager role is a CONTRACT opportunity that could extend out. This opportunity is responsible for the overall success of the project, requirements definition, and quality assurance activities for our client. This individual will strike a balance of providing technical project planning, management and oversight for key initiatives and implementation projects for our client. Ensuring the initiatives for this project are closely aligned with client requirements and the initiatives and projects are completed on-time, within scope and budget and with an extremely high quality of deliverables is a priority. What’s We’re Looking For
